BEGINNERS' TASTER COURSES

Bubblemaker
Minimum Age: 8 years
Duration: 1 hour approx.

This course offers you the chance to experience Scuba diving in a swimming pool environment under the guidance of a trained professional.

Seal Team
Minimum Age: 8 years
Duration: 8 hours approx.
Cost: $ 300.00 US
The Seal team program teaches youngsters the basics of scuba diving in a pool. Once they have mastered the five basic 'Aquamissions' they may enroll in the Master Seal Team program which includes 10 specialty 'Aquamissions' (not included in this course cost; for further info ask a DivePro team member)

Discover Scuba Diving
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 4 hours
Cost: $ 85.00US
In this course you will receive a brief introduction to diving followed by a pool session where you learn a few basic skills to make diving more enjoyable. Then they are taken on a dive to one of Barbados' many dive sites under the guidance of a professional instructor.

PADI RECREATIONAL COURSES

PADI Scuba Diver
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 1½ days
Cost: $ 300.00US
Similar to Open Water Diver but consisting only of the first three academic, 3 pool modules and 2 Open Water dives. You have a year in which to upgrade to Open Water Diver by completing the last 2 academic, pool and open water dives.

PADI Open Water Diver
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 3 full days or longer if only part days
Cost: $415.00 US
The PADI Open Water course is the first level of diver certification. This qualification will allow the participant to dive with other divers of the same certification level or higher. The course includes 5 academic sessions, 5 pool sessions and four open water qualifying dives. The cost is inclusive of manual, logbook, dive tables, certification, and all equipment rental and diving.

PADI Adventure Diver
Minimum Age: 12 Years
Duration: 1 Day
Cost: $200.00
The intermediate course between Open Water and Advanced consists of 3 Adventure dives, such as Night, Deep, Wreck, and Photography. This course is also upgradeable to Advanced Open Water by completing 2 additional dives within 12 months. Cost includes tuition materials and equipment.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Minimum Age: 12 Years
Duration: 2 days or longer if only part days
Cost: $ 310.00US
The advanced open water diver course consists of five dives. There are two core dives (deep and navigation) and three elective dives (wreck, drift, photography etc). This course can be taken either as a package following the Open water course, or after a period of diving inactivity. A must for all Open water divers booking a five-dive package!

PADI Rescue Diver
Minimum Age: 12 years
Duration: 5 days
Cost: $365.00 US
Consists of seven theory workshops, ten in-water training exercises and two diving scenarios.

PADI Divemaster
Minimum Age: 18 years
Duration: 10 days
Cost: $465.00
PADI's first leadership level. This course consists of seven theory lessons, pool based skills development and problem solving exercises, underwater mapmaking exercises, and assisting an instructor with training open water students. The course includes Divemaster manual and tuition only.

PADI Assistant Instructor
Minimum Age: 18 years
Duration: 14 days
Cost: $600.00 US
The assistant instructor course develops your theory knowledge and presentation skills both in the water and the classroom to better prepare you for the Instructor Development Course.
